WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Civil Engineering intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers who are eager to share their knowledge and help you apply your classroom skills to real-world projects. Areas of work may include hydraulic/hydrology calculations, quantity take-offs/cost estimates, drainage reports and calculations, AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and project research and feasibility studies. Internships will begin in May or June at approximately 40 hours per week and will be approximately 12 - 14 weeks in duration.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program and have completed junior level coursework
- Possess an interest in stormwater, road, and/or utility design and a desire to contribute to a team-based environment
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Experience in stormwater modeling, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, water distribution, and roads
- $22 - $25 per hour
